Job description

As an Assistant Financial Controller you will prepare monthly management accounts, manage sales ledgers, participate in the hotel forecasting and budgeting processes, support the forecast of payroll and expenses, and review and challenge the revenue forecast as appropriate. You will monitor bank transactions, attend meetings as required, and collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, with the ability to analyse data, prepare detailed reports, and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present financial information clearly to internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with team members.
  • Leadership and management experience, able to lead a financial team, set goals, and provide strategic guidance to senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems, with the ability to create, analyse and present data effectively.
  • Proactive, analytical mindset and a genuine interest in improving processes to support operational success.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience and living our brand standards.
  • Basic Disclosure Check will be requested as part of the onboarding process.
