About the Role

We are currently seeking two dedicated Assistant Finance Officers to join Lincolnshire County Council's Financial Services team. In this role, you'll assist with the administration of Court of Protection and Appointeeship cases, ensuring client finances are effectively managed on behalf of the nominated Deputy/Appointee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload from referral through to ongoing maintenance.
  • Administer financial matters for service users, ensuring all benefits and income are correctly claimed and managed.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date records on the case management system.
  • Process invoices, personal allowances, and payments through online banking or cheque.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the team with ongoing process improvements and accurate record keeping.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Previous finance or case administration experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident with finance systems and Microsoft Office.

💰 Pay Rate: £12.21 PAYE
🕒 Hours: 7.5 per day | Start Date: ASAP | 📋 IR35 Status: Inside
