Job summary

A growing finance recruitment firm in North Yorkshire is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager. This full-time role offers a four-day work week with responsibilities in management accounts preparation, payroll administration, and credit control. The ideal candidate will have AAT qualification or be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and experience in management accounting. Competitive salary up to £35,000 plus profit share bonus and 25 days annual leave.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a management accounting or similar finance position.
  • Experience working within an SME environment would be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Processing and administration of monthly payroll.
  • Credit control activities including customer credit checks.
