Job summary

ACCA Careers is recruiting an Assistant Finance Business Partner for the Schools Finance team. Based in County Hall, Llandrindod Wells, the role supports budgeting and management accounting to drive service performance, with agile working including home and local offices.

You will be AAT qualified or equivalent, proficient with finance systems, and able to communicate with a broad range of non-finance stakeholders. A test on Excel will be conducted at interview.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to an Assistant Finance Business Partner post within the Schools Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our Management Accounting Team that supports the Councils’ services. The council is pursuing an exciting transformation agenda to better meet the needs and improve the lives of our residents, local businesses, and visitors: so it is a great time to join the Council.

Finance plays a partner role to the service, driving decisions that enable and improve performance.

There will be a test on the day of the interview using Microsoft Excel.

The role is based in County Hall, Llandrindod Wells however the Council supports agile working which includes flexible working at home and at local offices.

About You

• We are seeking applicants who are AAT qualified or equivalent.
• Applicants must be able to work at pace and use finance systems proficiently.
• Excellent communication skills must be demonstrated and confidence to liaise with a broad range of non-finance stakeholders.
