Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Finance Analyst to make a meaningful impact and be part of a dynamic team. Reporting into our Senior Finance Manager, the Assistant Finance Analyst will provide accurate and timely financial services across the Walt Disney Travel Company International portfolio.

Location: Office-based in Hammersmith, London – 4 days in office, 1 day remote (Monday or Friday).

What You Will Do
  • Ensure smooth running of the accounts payable (AP) function and accuracy of supplier invoices, monitoring purchase order (PO) limits for vendors and raising new POs as needed.
  • Assist with P-Card reconciliations and monthly activities such as month‑end and quarter‑end close tasks, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations for deferred and prepayment accounts and monitor finance tracking systems, scheduling monthly reviews with budget holders.
  • Check weekly trade payments through clearing houses and liaise with the trade team on discrepancy resolution.
  • Reconcile ticket standalone bookings for WDW and conduct competitor analysis to inform management.
  • Investigate chargebacks and liaise with payment providers.
  • Conduct weekly bank reconciliations across the portfolio.
  • Serve as a Casual Buyer for the WDTCI, handling SAP/Coupa queries, tracking purchase orders, and responding to supplier issues.
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis as required.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
  • Degree‑level education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • SAP experience within a similar function (desirable).
  • Experience in the travel industry finance function (beneficial).
