Join Our Team as an Assistant Facilities and Workplace Experience Manager– Make an Impact Every Day. Fixed Term Contract up to 6 months. University of Greenwich Medway Campus ME4 4TB, flexibility to cover other campuses as and when required. Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours pw). £34,000 - £35,000pa + excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a multi‑skilled team to deliver exceptional FM services.
  • Manage service budgets, including labour, consumables, and materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and performance excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with SLA, KPIs, safety standards, and audit requirements.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and build strong supplier relationships.
  • Deliver engaging team communication, from daily huddles to monthly meetings.
  • Champion health, safety, and wellbeing across all service lines.
  • Support recruitment, training, development, and performance management.
  • Analyse data and service reports to implement meaningful improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience in FM or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM service delivery.
  • IWFM Level 4 qualification (or working towards it) – desirable.
  • Experience in budget management, resource planning, and payroll systems.
  • Confidence in producing and presenting performance reports.
  • Positive, solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments, compliance, and safe systems of work.
