Job description

Prepare to be part of a dynamic, hard-working, collaborative and inspirational team, creating and bringing product to market season after season for our iconic British brand. You can expect a journey outlined with clear goals and aspirations shared by the whole business whilst building cross-collaborative relationships including the opportunity to work with our Founder; Tom Joule, and his Senior Team who have a wealth of knowledge to share.

Responsibilities
  • Work with and support the Kidswear and Special Purchase Tech team with their day to day duties.
  • Set up initial workbooks for new styles.
  • Measuring of fit samples - updating technical workbooks.
  • Log all fit samples onto the fit list, organise fit samples and fit rail prior to fit sessions.
  • Take notes and contribute during fit sessions.
  • Action fit comments following fit sessions.
  • Chase samples from Suppliers.
  • Workbook management - saving workbooks down for quality control (QC) inspection.
  • Monitoring QC system and helping to assist with queries.
  • Collection of department post and parcels.
  • Sample management - Maintain the storage of fit/production samples in season and prepare them for disposal at the end of season.
  • Manage technology critical path for product area, reporting any exceptions to the line manager.
  • Working as an important support to the Buying, Merchandising and Design teams.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A relevant qualification or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Interest in quality and an awareness of garment construction.

  • Menswear experience would be desirable but not essential.
  • High level of awareness and sense of urgency.
  • Experience of manufacturing environment, preferably within the pattern-cutting, grading and product development area.

This is a full-time role based at ‘The Barn’ - Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. This role is office based working onsite, as we believe this is where we make the best decisions together.
