Job summary

A leading insurance firm in London is seeking a professional to enhance their Exposure Management Team. Responsibilities include managing Liability classes of business such as Cyber and Professional Indemnity. The candidate should have a degree in an analytical field and experience in using specific tools like Sequel Impact. Strong Excel knowledge and programming skills are advantageous. Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in an analytical field, e.g. maths, computer science.
  • A grade in GCSE/A Level maths is desirable.
  • Experience in using Sequel Impact.
  • Desirable experience in using Allphins and Touchstone.
  • Excel knowledge with proven capability of pivot tables.
  • Programming knowledge is desirable, e.g. SQL, R.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with underwriting teams for portfolio management.
  • Ensure data from underwriters is cleansed and formatted accurately.
  • Present information in concise and accurate reports.
  • Provide clear Realistic Disaster Scenario information for accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the Exposure Management Team with responsibilities involving Liability classes of business such as Cyber, Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions, and Casualty

  • Location: London

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Work closely with the underwriting teams to ensure effective management of the relevant portfolios
  • Data received from underwriters is cleansed accurately and into the accepted format
  • Information is presented in concise reports. This information is logical, accurate and provides the Underwriters with all relevant accumulation data needed
  • Realistic Disaster Scenario (RDS) information for each account is presented clearly and accurately, enabling the Underwriters to take a view on each account’s RDS contribution

  • Degree or equivalent in an analytical field, e.g. maths, computer science
  • A grade in GCSE/A Level maths is desirable
  • Experience in using: Sequel Impact
  • Desirable experience in using: Allphins, Touchstone
  • Excel knowledge with proven capability of pivot tables and excel querying. Ability to manipulate data sets with excel
  • Programming knowledge is desirable, e.g. SQL, R
