Assistant Engineering Surveyor

Salary: £30,000 Plus Package
Location: Central London
Region: London

An Assistant Engineering Surveyor is required to work for a well-respected main contractor in Central London.

This contractor is a top 5 contractor in the UK with a very strong name in the construction industry, with large projects valuing up to £10 billion. They are known to have a strong pipeline of work with a strong track record from all of their schemes.

Ideal Candidate
  • You are required to have a Bachelor of Engineering Surveying OR Civil Engineering Surveying or Surveying Mapping Science degree or a similar relevant qualification.
  • You are required to be a member of the Professional Surveying institution or be working towards a membership.
  • You will need to be able to solve problems in a short period of time with good communication skills.
  • You must be able to work well in a team for the assigned projects.
  • You are required to be computer literate and have good computer skills.
Responsibilities
  • Following the health and safety standards set by the contractor.
  • Horizontal and vertical control on all levels of the scheme.
  • Monitoring the basement slabs for deflection and settlement every month.
  • Ensuring jobs are ready for submitting for senior approval.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with everyone on the project.
  • Carrying out responsibilities set by Senior Management.
