A leading engineering firm is seeking Clean Water Modellers for their Belfast office. Successful candidates will work on water projects, including the design of supply networks, and will receive training in network modeling and field testing. Applicants should have a degree in relevant fields and a passion for sustainability and teamwork.
Due to continued growth in the workload of our successful Water business, we seek to recruit Clean Water Modellers to our Belfast office. The successful candidate will join a team of geographers, GIS specialists and engineers and play a key role in delivering to a range of Clients including Water Companies, Local Authorities, developers with the potential to get involved with International projects.
The Networks and Drainage team carries out a range of projects related to water, including the outline design of water supply networks and trunk mains. This typically involves undertaking feasibility studies/projects using computer modelling, analysis to support operational and environmental recommendations or other interventions. The successful candidate may be required as part of a team to undertake small field test which involves the deployment of logging equipment at key locations on the water network to collate flow and pressure information.
Experience/Awareness of network modelling, field testing and civil engineering would be advantageous but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.
