We are looking for a professional with Procurement & Supply Chain management experience working to help our clients in multiple industries with a specific focus on Corporate Real Estate or Facilities Management (CRE & FM) category and domain expertise. If you have procured or helped procure (at consultancy capacity) a complex facilities and real‑estate or property management services for a major organisation you would be an ideal candidate for this role. We seek people with curious minds, who would like to take their career forward. Either coming from management consulting or from one of the major FM or RE companies, you’ll be part of a team dealing with industry’s highest profile Occupier consultancy engagements.

In this role you will be expected to support client engagements across a range of industries. Some of these may look like:

  • Working alongside the client’s senior Real Estate and Facilities personnel, and leading a team of 3 Deloitte consultants to develop the procurement outsourcing strategy and business case for facilities and estate management activities across 200 locations across the UK for a public sector client.
  • For a large pharmaceutical company, creation and implementation of a procurement strategy across RE & FM services across the organisation’s entire real estate portfolio, including:
    • Preparing the business case for change leading the cost benefits analysis of outsourcing RE / FM services.
    • Preparing the go to market and supplier engagement strategy, structuring the sourcing and lotting strategy and bundling options.
    • Leading a team of consultants to prepare tender materials through to supplier negotiations, change and communications management and implementation processes.
    • Facilitating the tender process and facilitating the client‑supplier engagement process.
    • Developing the CRE and FM strategy for the delivery of a high‑profile facilities and workplace services transformation programme.
  • Design and establishment of a new target operating model for a client organisation, including the supply chain and service delivery models.
  • Conducting options analysis around development of technology and AI solutions for the next generation of FM and RE services for a major Bank, including analysis of the existing technology landscape, workplace applications and identifying value creation through technology and AI in FM / RE.

  • Lead large multidisciplinary transformational CRE & FM, workplace and procurement projects.
  • Define and challenge client requirements and identify means of solving commercial and real estate problems.
  • Be responsible for providing day to day oversight, leadership and support for more junior team members.
  • Be a strong team player, capable of fulfilling different roles within project teams.
Undertake business development
  • Lead, support and coordinate specific bids and proposals that align with your goals.
  • Drive specific initiatives in your desired area of expertise.

  • Work closely with the Partner/Director group to drive growth of the Deloitte Corporate Occupiers & Real Estate community in the UK and Global network.
Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge of corporate real estate and facilities management industry, suppliers, and trends.
  • Strategic and tactical procurement and supply chain / commercial management experience either as a consultant or within industry.
  • Professional experience working with Corporate Real Estate / Facilities Management functions across private sector industries, either in industry or consulting.
  • Professional qualification in a relevant area (e.g. MRICS, MCIPS) welcomed but not a pre‑requisite.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and supporting business growth opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness, and ability to leverage AI.
Desirable skills and experience
  • Excellent analytical skills – desirable but not essential to have data analytics experience (e.g. use of data visualisation software such as Power BI or Tableau).
  • Strong communication skills honed through experience in client‑facing roles or similar.
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent problem solving and a strategic thinker.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, eager to contribute and collaborate effectively.
  • The ability to travel as required (opportunity to work on assignments overseas).
  • Willingness and eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (SC), if required.
