Overview

COMO Hotels and Resorts is seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Assistant Cluster Director of Finance to join our team at COMO Metropolitan London & COMO The Halkin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in the financial operations of one of London’s most respected luxury hotels.

What you’ll do

Manage all aspects of the hotel’s financial operations and reporting.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analyses
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Maintain and improve internal control systems
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax and legal requirements (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
  • Support department heads with financial guidance to maximise operational performance
  • Manage, train, and develop the Accounts team
Who you are
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in a hospitality finance role, ideally within a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
