Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Director to lead financial due diligence on high-profile IPOs and transactions. You will work with a high-performing cross-disciplinary team and provide insights and evidence-based conclusions to clients, banks and investors.

You will plan, scope and deliver multi-disciplinary reports, coach junior staff, and build strong client relationships across EY's UK and international network.

Qualifications

• Business Development experience
• ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Strong commercial or transaction experience including financial due diligence
• Passion for high-quality client service
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with strong relationship-building abilities

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor the progress of the team
• Share technical knowledge with the team and department
• Develop internal and external networks through personal contacts
• Identify opportunities to sell additional services to clients
• Contribute to business plan initiatives such as key accounts and recruitment
• Establish yourself as a key client contact and trusted advisor
• Pursue ongoing learning, coaching others and giving upward feedback
