We are looking for a visionary and strategic leader to join Birmingham City Council as Assistant Director of Asset Management. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping the future of our housing stock and delivering high‑quality, sustainable homes for our residents.
As Assistant Director, you will lead the delivery of housing asset management services, ensuring our homes are safe, warm, and well‑maintained. You will drive service improvement, oversee major investment programmes, and ensure alignment with the Council’s Asset Management Strategy and HRA Business Plan.
You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, leading on investment and retrofit programmes, lifecycle asset planning, while ensuring there pairs services meets the needs of Birmingham’s diverse communities and tenant satisfaction measures.
