Join George as an Assistant Garment Designer in our Baby Boys’ department on a 12 month FTC. We are a leading name in baby fashion, creating stylish, high-quality, and comfortable clothing for little ones. If you love design, have an eye for trends, and enjoy working in a creative, collaborative environment, this is the perfect role for you.

We’re looking for an Assistant Garment Designer to support the Senior Designer on our Baby Boys’ fashion ranges. You’ll help bring ideas to life, contribute to designing collections, and work across all stages of product development.

Find your role
  • Research trends and analyse the market to keep designs relevant and competitive
  • Develop concepts, sketches, and CADs in collaboration with the Senior Designer
  • Create tech packs with construction details, materials, and specifications
  • Support fabric, trim, and colour selection for seasonal collections
  • Be a team player collaborating with your buying /merchandising team and wider design team
  • Build on your people skills - Attend supplier and departmental meetings, contributing to the design function in these meetings
  • Develop your time management skills - Deliver work to the critical path, prioritising workload with your Senior Designer

  • Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Some experience in a design role, ideally in children’s fashion
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and CAD skills
  • Good knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and trims
