Howdens Joinery Limited is seeking an Assistant Depot Manager to help drive the depot’s success. You will support the Depot Manager, grow sales, and build strong ties with local trade customers while leading and developing your team to deliver high performance.

You’ll be part of a busy depot environment with a focus on customer service, stock control, and process improvements. The role includes ongoing training and development to prepare you for a future Depot Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Support the Depot Manager in day-to-day depot operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with local trade customers.
• Lead, coach and develop the team to improve performance.
• Oversee sales, customer service, warehouse and stock.
• Review performance and drive sales toward targets.
• Promote the full range of products and services.
• Deputise for the Depot Manager when required.
• Maintain high health and safety standards across the depot.
