A leading tiling contractor in the UK is seeking an ambitious Assistant Contracts Manager to support ceramic tiling projects. This role involves site visits, coordinating work, monitoring quality, and assisting in contracts management. Candidates should have some practical experience, strong organisational skills, and a clear communication style. A UK driving licence is required as travel across multiple sites is essential.
Join a quality-focused specialist tiling contractor. Specialist Ceramics Ltd is seeking an ambitious Assistant Contracts Manager to support our growing portfolio of ceramic tiling projects across the South-East and South-West. This is a genuine development role for someone ready to learn the craft of contracts management from experienced professionals while making an immediate, tangible contribution to project delivery.
We're a specialist ceramic tiling contractor working with major housebuilders, main contractors, and clients across residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. Our reputation is built on two non-negotiable principles: exceptional quality of workmanship and a customer-centric approach to every project we undertake. We don\'t chase volume—we pursue excellence. Whether it\'s a luxury residential development, a commercial fit-out, or a leisure facility, we apply the same rigorous standards and attention to detail. Our network of trusted sub-contracted labour and supply chain partnerships enable us to maintain control over quality from first fix to final handover.
Reporting to our Senior Contracts Manager, you\'ll provide hands-on support across multiple live projects, helping to coordinate tiling works from inception through to practical completion. This is a site-based role—expect to spend the majority of your time travelling between sites across the South-East and South-West, engaging directly with site teams, clients, and subcontractors. You\'ll assist in planning labour and materials, monitoring progress against programme, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. Crucially, you\'ll be learning the full spectrum of contracts management: from reading specifications and managing variations to understanding the commercial and quality assurance aspects that underpin successful project delivery. This isn\'t a desk job. You\'ll be visible on sites, solving problems in real-time, and developing the practical judgement that separates competent administrators from effective contracts managers.
