Responsibilities

  • Cover sites within the M25 corridor based in Surrey 2-3 days a week.
  • Carry out site surveys.
  • Manage a team of engineers.
  • Mobilise new contracts.
  • Carry out site inspections.
  • Prepare quotations for additional works.
  • Monitor subcontractors.
  • Manage contract renewals.
  • Update contract managers with relevant information.
  • Update site log books.
  • Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared.

Skills

Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC
Previous experience running a team of engineers

Are you a Technical Supervisor or Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working on an established portfolio within the M25 corridor and based in Surrey.

GH Engage are currently recruiting an Assistant Contracts Manager to work across a portfolio of sites within the M25 Corridor and based in Surrey.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial maintenance.

This position would be ideal for a Technical Supervisor or Engineering Manager currently in a similar position who is keen on training and progression. The successful candidate will have experience within leading a team and providing technical advice. In return the company is offering a salary up to 50,000 with travel provided.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Covering sites within the M25 corridor and being based in Surrey 2-3 days a week.
  • Carrying out site surveys.
  • Managing a team of engineers.
  • Mobilising new contracts.
  • Carrying out site inspections.
  • Preparing quotations for additional works and small projects.
  • Monitoring subcontractors.
  • Managing contract renewals.
  • Updating contract managers with relevant client or site information.
  • Updating site log books.
  • Ensuring method statements and risk assessments are prepared and used for all tasks.
Required Skills
  • Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
  • Previous experience running a team of engineers.
  • Experience with liaising with clients.
  • Proactive and organised.
  • Being able to provide technical advice to clients and staff.
