A leading training provider in Greater London is seeking a skilled Assistant Composites Instructor to support instructional delivery and course development. You will co-instruct training on composite repair and fabrication, provide hands-on guidance, and evaluate trainee progress. Looking to share your expertise in composites with the next generation of industry professionals? Advanced Composites Training (ACT) is searching for a skilled and passionate Assistant Composites Instructor to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on learning environment and is eager to support both instructional delivery and essential course development functions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Co‑instruct training courses on composite repair and fabrication alongside our Lead Instructor, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience for all trainees.
  • Provide practical, hands‑on guidance to trainees during workshops and lab sessions.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing training materials, equipment, and classroom setups.
  • Evaluate trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
  • Perform various course development functions as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and delivery methods.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have
  • Proven experience in composite repair and/or fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of composite materials, processes, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Prior instructional experience is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with strong technical skills and a desire to teach.
  • A background in aviation‑based composites is preferred.
