Job description

A leading global professional services firm is seeking a Compliance Monitoring Assistant Manager to join its growing team. This is a key position within the compliance function, supporting the development, testing, and enhancement of group-wide regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and updating global risk and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all policies align with jurisdictional legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with compliance, legal, and business services teams to review regulatory developments.
  • Participating in the firm's annual compliance monitoring programme and testing controls.
  • Analysing compliance data and reporting findings and recommendations.
  • Supporting stakeholders with compliance enquiries and periodic reporting.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in internal processes and contributing to best practice.
  • Assisting with the coordination of global policy updates and regulatory reviews.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in compliance, risk, or operational control within a regulated financial services environment. A strong understanding of AML regulations and fiduciary or corporate services in Guernsey, Jersey, or other relevant jurisdictions is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
