Are you passionate about keeping buildings safe, compliant and operating at their best? We're looking for an Assistant Compliance and Asset Assurance Manager to join our team and play a vital role in protecting and improving our diverse property portfolio.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll help ensure our buildings remain fully compliant with statutory legislation, industry standards and best practice. Working across a wide range of property types, you'll oversee compliance programmes, manage specialist contractors, monitor planned maintenance, and ensure critical inspections and certifications are completed on time.

You'll also be instrumental in developing robust compliance systems, supporting ISO standards, maintaining accurate asset and compliance data, and providing assurance that our buildings are safe, legally compliant and fit for purpose. Whether you're reviewing performance, supporting audits, analysing compliance data or working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, no two days will be the same.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their facilities or compliance career, working within a supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to influence how compliance is managed across our estate.

About You

You'll have experience working within facilities, property or asset management and a good understanding of statutory building compliance, including areas such as fire safety, electrical safety, water hygiene, asbestos and gas safety.

We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical and proactive, with excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage contractors, build strong relationships with stakeholders and work across multiple priorities. You'll enjoy solving problems, using data to make informed decisions and continuously looking for ways to improve services.

You’ll ideally hold a relevant qualification in facilities, construction or building services together with a Health and Safety qualification such as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH). Experience with Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems, contract management, compliance reporting or ISO standards would be an advantage, although we're equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to develop.

If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact on the safety, compliance and performance of a significant property portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.
