A leading outsourcing firm is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Chartered Governance Institute and possess expertise in secretarial activities. This position offers hybrid work with a requirement to be in the London office once weekly, as well as 23 days of pro-rata holiday.

Assistant Company Secretary - 6 months fixed term contract starting end November/first week December

Hybrid - requirement to be in the London office (Kingdom Street, Paddington) once a week

We have an exciting opportunity for a UK qualified Company Secretary to join our team for a 6 - month fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will join a small professional secretariat team which manages all the Group's legal entities and all secretariat matters relating to a public listed company. The role will be varied, with the successful candidate assisting with -

  • Completion and submission of Companies House filings.
  • Maintaining statutory registers and company records.
  • Assisting with preparation of subsidiary company/shareholder documentation, meeting minutes, regulatory announcements, and year-end procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Stakeholder relationship and expectations
  • Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders to manage key deliverables
  • Identify newer opportunities and new ways of working to enhance excellence at work and better delivery output
  • Implement process development and better ways of working and be solution oriented
  • Support on Quality Projects for Team Members

Successful candidates must be a member of the Charters Governance Institute in the UK and possess professional expertise in handling Secretarial activities compliances (MNC exposure).
