A prominent healthcare trust in England is seeking an Assistant Childcare Practitioner to work collaboratively in a progressive nursery. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification in childcare and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include undertaking childcare duties and providing customer service to parents. The Trust provides an on-site Day Nursery, primarily used by staff, but also open to the general public. The Charing Cross Day Nursery offers childcare places for children aged 6 months to 5 years old.
We require an Assistant Childcare Practitioner to work in partnership with Childcare Practitioners, Deputy Day Nursery Manager, and Day Nursery Manager at a progressive nursery committed to high-quality childcare and early years learning.
You will undertake childcare duties working alongside Qualified Childcare Practitioners, being responsible for your Key children, providing excellent customer service to parents and carers who use the service.
A Level 2 qualification is required, and you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the childcare sector and have an interest in working with children. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
The Trust is strongly committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its staff, patients, and children. Due to the role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and also a range of other recruitment checks.
