Job summary

A well-respected local charity in Minchinhampton is looking for a dedicated Assistant Chef to join their friendly kitchen team. This full-time role requires a commitment to high standards in food preparation and presentation. You will help prepare nutritious meals, accommodate dietary needs, and maintain hygiene standards. Previous kitchen experience is valued, as well as a positive team-oriented attitude. The position offers competitive pay of £13.25 per hour on weekdays and £13.73 per hour on weekends, along with various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, care sector experience is a bonus.

Salary: £13.25 per hour (weekdays) | £13.73 per hour (weekends)

Your Role

As an Assistant Chef, you’ll help prepare high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and food is served with care and attention. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain excellent standards of hygiene and safety.

About Horsfall House

Horsfall House is an award winning not-for-profit, 44-bed Nursing Home with a thriving Day Centre and Home Care service based in the beautiful Cotswold town of Minchinhampton. We deliver care to residents and clients who require support throughout the day or 24-hour care, including those living with dementia, as well as offering palliative care, respite and short breaks.
