Residents can curl up in the library, have a manicure in the salon, or watch a classic on the big screen. There is even a chapel and a café. The gardens are perfect for a stroll, perhaps to visit the chickens. There is an allotment where residents can grow produce or relax on the patio when the sun is out.
The friendly team work together to make sure everyone’s stay is as comfortable as possible, whether that’s for a few days of respite or longer term.
There’s a real focus on looking after each resident’s wellbeing, including support for their physical, mental and spiritual needs. Enjoyable mealtimes, lots to do and plenty of opportunities to socialise make this a very special place to be. Friends and family are always welcome to pop in for a catch‑up or to join in with whatever’s going on.
The team of activity coordinators plan a varied and interesting programme. There is something for everyone, including those who are less mobile. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home’s social calendar is organised around those interests. From pet therapy, music and gentle exercise to visiting performers there is lots going on and anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether a friend, relative or loved one.
