Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. in the UK is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our kitchen team, preparing healthy meals for young children and supporting daily catering operations within the early years sector.

Based at Busy Bees Great Park nursery near Newcastle, you will contribute to children’s wellbeing and gain valuable catering experience. Join a supportive team in a central nursery with access to opportunities for development, training, and career progression while working in a nurturing

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.
• Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
• Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
