Job summary

Protyre Autocare is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Centre Manager to support operations in our Ashford depot. You will help deliver business objectives, maintain high centre standards and lead customer-focused service.

The role requires a technical or mechanical background, workshop assistance, and proven leadership skills to coach and mentor the team while meeting KPIs and stock control targets.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)
• Workshop experience and Management Experience
• Technical or Mechanical background / knowledge
• The ability to support the technicians in the workshop and coach the team

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Centre Manager in the operation and daily running of the depot
• Supporting the team in the workshop mechanically
• Playing a key part in the Centre targets including key performance indicators
• Overseeing the maintenance of stock values within the centre
• Offering and delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Company Policies and Procedures
