An automotive service company in Leeds is looking for an experienced Assistant Service Centre Manager to supervise a team of Technicians. Qualifications

  • Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 is mandatory.
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally in a Main Dealer, Independent Garage, or Fast Fit Centre.
  • MOT Licence preferred, full UK Driving Licence required.

Assistant Service Centre Manager needed in Leeds

Working Hours

5 day working week. Day off during the week if you work a Saturday.

Client

Our client is seeking applications from experienced Vehicle Technicians, eager to progress into a managerial position or from existing management personnel.

Guide a team of Technicians to complete a full range of jobs. Follow in the footsteps of our previous placements who have risen through the ranks. Opportunity to work for a nationally renowned Service Centre with an excellent reputation.

Duties
  • Manage a small team of Technicians.
  • Organise workload and workshop bookings.
  • Operate workshop loading system.
  • Deal with customer enquiries in person and by telephone.
  • Quote for repairs.
  • Accurately record faults with vehicles/complete job sheets.
  • Manage and order parts.
  • Work on the tools when required (Semi-Productive).
Requirements
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3.
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally operating in a Main Dealer/Independent Garage/Fast Fit Centre.
  • Own set of Tools.
  • MOT Licence preferred although not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
