Position: Assistant Catering Manager
Location: Springfield Hospital, London
Salary: £36,000

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Catering Manager to lead a trained team in delivering high-quality food services. You will be responsible for managing staff, achieving budget targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and develop a motivated team to deliver excellent service
  • Ensure efficient preparation, cooking, and service of food to agreed standards
  • Plan and manage resources, including stock, staff, and company assets
  • Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships
  • Promote the unit and represent Compass Group professionally at all times
  • Implement company promotions and retail strategies effectively
  • Monitor food costs, manage budgets, and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Lead by example, maintaining a positive and productive work environment
  • Support team training and development, ensuring all staff meet required standards
