Job summary

Academics in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Assistant Caretaker to join the premises team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves general maintenance, minor repairs and routine site checks to ensure a safe, secure and well-presented school environment.

You will support opening/closing, assist contractors and visitors, and contribute to health and safety across the site. Prior caretaking or facilities experience is desirable; candidates should be practical, reliable and able to work

Assistant Caretaker - Hemel Hempstead

Permanent Full-Time 27,000- 29,000 per annum

A well-established secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a reliable and practical Assistant Caretaker to join its premises team.

The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure and well-presented school environment, carrying out general maintenance, minor repairs and routine site checks.
