Job summary

Pringle of Scotland in Kingston upon Thames seeks an Assistant Buyer to support the Buyer in delivering the product range that drives profitable sales growth. You will assist from product development through to pricing, production, and range sign-off, ensuring quality and margins meet expectations.

You will manage critical paths, liaise with suppliers, and contribute to monthly range and market insights to inform future product decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting product development and range planning.
• Attention to cost, price, margin and quantities.
• Ability to manage critical path and supplier liaison.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer in all aspects of the product development process.
• Support buying & develop ranges inline with agreed plan and business strategy.
• Contract orders to suppliers per Critical Path and delegate admin when needed.
• Oversee buying information on the range plan for 100% accuracy and timely entry.
• Manage samples and critical path, ensuring timely sign-off and delivery.
• Place orders and manage to 95% availability; maximise sales via trading.
