Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join the Buying Team at our London Office. Under the guidance of the Buyer, you will analyse weekly trade reports, present to the wider team, negotiate ranges, participate in product development and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a proven Assistant Buyer background, strong interest in product, trend and innovation, and the ability to manage competing priorities within a budget to trading profit

Qualifications

• Proven background at an Assistant Buyer level.
• Flair for product, trend and innovation.
• Ability to coordinate a number of competing priorities.
• Ability to work within a budget whilst trading profit opportunities.
• Ability to manage and coach to deliver outstanding results as part of a team.
• Able to shape and plan a range for retail.
• Experience in preparing and delivering range and product proposals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse weekly trade reports and present findings to the Buying Team.
• Negotiate and build ranges with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop products and liaise with internal and external teams to deliver range proposals.
• Support budgeting and trading opportunities to optimise profitability.
