We're looking for an Assistant Buyer (Outdoor Equipment) to join our journey. From tents and sleeping bags to waterbottles and camping stoves, you'll help shape the ranges that empower our customers to adventure with confidence. This role goes beyond the numbers — it's about understanding outdoor enthusiasts, anticipating trends, and bringing the best equipment to market.

We're currently based in Kemble but will be moving to central Swindon in Spring 2026 - just a short walk from the train station and the new bus boulevard. How will you make an impact?
  • Supporting the Buyer in seasonal range planning, from concept to sign-off, ensuring we meet customer needs and commercial goals
  • Analysing performance, monitoring sales and market trends, and making data-led recommendations for future seasons
  • Assisting with supplier negotiations, ensuring the best mix of value, quality, and innovation across our outdoor equipment ranges
  • Helping to prepare and deliver seasonal presentations, line reviews, and product selections
  • Managing samples, organising range reviews and supporting photoshoots to bring our products to life
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Representing the Buyer when required, attending store visits, trade fairs, and supplier meetings across the UK and Europe
