Overview

We are recruiting an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a well‑established Chartered Building Consultancy. The role is offered on a remote working basis, with occasional travel into London and surrounding areas for site visits and client meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Building Surveyor to gain experience across both professional and project services while working toward chartership. You'll be supported by a knowledgeable and approachable team, with structured guidance and mentorship through the APC process.

Responsibilities
  • Support senior surveyors in delivering a broad mix of professional and project work.
  • Involvement in building surveys, defect analysis, schedules of condition, contract administration, and refurbishment projects.
  • Build client‑facing experience and technical knowledge.
  • Travel to South/South East project sites as required.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and work toward MRICS qualification.
