Solihull Council is looking for two Assistant Building Control Inspectors to support the delivery of high-quality Building Control services. This role involves assisting with inspections, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to project work within a dynamic team. Candidates should have a construction-related degree, registration as a Class 1 Building Inspector, and strong communication skills. We have an exciting development opportunity for two Assistant Building Control Inspectors to join our award-winning Building Control team. This role will help support the delivery of Solihull Council’s responsibilities under the Building Safety Act and delivering high-quality Building Control services across the borough.
You’ll be an integral part of a high-performing and growing team that works closely with Planning, Solihull Community Housing, project delivery teams and our suite of external customers to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable development.
