The Roof Gardens in Kensington is seeking an Assistant Bars Manager to lead front-of-house and deliver a world class drinks offering. You will oversee a talented bar team, craft cocktails, and ensure service excellence for our private member events.

This permanent role requires a polished demeanour, strong liquor control, and the ability to manage multiple outlets. Competitive salary up to £53,000 plus staff perks and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced luxury hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of liquor, stock and margin control.
• Passion for mixology and exceptional guest experience.
• Enthusiastic, professional demeanor with attention to detail.
• Friendly, personable with strong communication and rapport skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar operations across The Roof Gardens, ensuring exceptional service.
• Develop and train the bar team through strategic hiring and coaching.
• Develop beverage and cocktail lists with Bars Manager in line with GP targets.
• Work with Bars Manager to increase spend per head while minimising costs.
• Manage bar systems and stock levels across locations; maintain compliance.
• Ensure licences, recipes and fridge temps and cleanliness are up to date.
