Valor Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager in Scotland to lead daily bar operations, drive profitability, and maintain service standards. You will manage shifts, forecast bar activity, and coordinate with F&B leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a good grasp of hygiene and safety practices. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential, with training and development opportunities available within the brand.

You will have experience ofimplementing and maintaining control measures to ensure that bar costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with budget.

To carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs. To participate in departmental meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals.

An Assistant BarManager is responsible for the daily management of the bar outlets, ensuring that the highest standards of food and beverage service are provided to the guests.

The Assistant Bar Manager plans, organizes and directs the overall Bar operation, Administration, Marketing and Promotion of the outlet, and is responsible and accountable for its profitability and revenue generation.

You have good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for Bar service.

Ensure clear communication with the Food and Beverage Manager,Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
