Position Title: Assistant Auditor – Technical

Location: Qatar

Position Type: Permanent

Position Overview:
We are looking for a technically skilled Assistant Auditor to join a leading manufacturing organisation. The role focuses on conducting detailed internal audits of production and operational processes, evaluating plant performance, and supporting optimisation of cost, efficiency, and resource utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical internal audits across manufacturing and production operations

  • Benchmark raw material, energy, and resource consumption and identify areas for efficiency improvements

  • Evaluate plant performance, including capacity, production output, energy efficiency, and equipment utilisation

  • Review cost control measures in production, maintenance, and operations, including planned shutdowns/turnarounds

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow-up plans

  • Collaborate with management to implement audit findings and drive operational improvements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Metallurgy) or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical/internal audits in manufacturing, preferably steel industry

  • Strong knowledge of plant operations, resource management, and performance evaluation

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills

Recommended Certifications:

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

  • Certified Automation Professional (CAP)

  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
