Durham University’s Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology (IPPP). We welcome researchers with interests in collider phenomenology, Higgs physics, QCD, neutrino and flavour physics.

The successful candidate will teach to an exceptional standard and contribute to IPPP and the wider university community, helping develop internationally recognised research and teaching activities.

Qualifications

• Applicants must demonstrate research excellence in the field of particle physics phenomenology with the ability to teach our students to an exceptional standard and to fully engage in the services, citizenship and values of the University.

Responsibilities

• Teach to an exceptional standard and engage in IPPP and Department activities.
• Contribute to internationally excellent research and teaching in particle physics phenomenology.
