Assistant Aftersales Manager
About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Aftersales Manager to join our client's successful dealership team. This role supports the Aftersales Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service department - helping drive performance, maximise profitability, and ensure customers receive a first‑class experience at every visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Aftersales Manager in the efficient daily operation of the service and parts departments.
  • Supervise and motivate the service advisor and workshop teams to deliver exceptional service levels.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time, to brand standards, and with maximum efficiency.
  • Manage job flow, workshop loading, and technician productivity.
  • Support customer handling - resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Monitor key KPIs including labour sales, parts sales, and CSI scores.
  • Support warranty processes, invoicing accuracy, and cost control.
  • Identify training needs and help develop the team's skills and performance.
  • Step up and deputise for the Aftersales Manager when required.
About You
  • Proven background in automotive service, workshop control, or assistant management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Focused on delivering high customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
  • Confident working to targets and analysing performance data.
  • Experience with manufacturer systems and DMS platforms is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
