You will work closely with the Finance Manager, enjoy study support toward ACCA or CIMA, and benefit from strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, ideally AAT qualified or studying toward ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail.
• Efficient, proactive, organised with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and completion of weekly and monthly payrolls
• Processing payroll-related queries and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
• Completion of associated general ledger journals
• Production of monthly headcount and people-related reporting
• Recharging of costs within the Group
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Analysing expenditure for Corporation Tax reporting requirements
• Supporting the monthly reporting process and submission of results to Group
• Supporting annual stocktakes
• Assisting with internal and external audits
