Propel Finance in Newport is seeking an Assistant Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Group Accounting Manager, you will support month-end close, payroll and other key accounting activities within the Finance team.
The successful candidate will be actively studying for ACCA/CIMA/ACA, have practical accounting experience, and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment with strong controls and teamwork.

Reporting into our Group Accounting Manager, you will work within the Accounting team, responsible for supporting with key business activities such as management accounts preparation, payroll and be responsible for key financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a keen and enthusiastic individual, seeking to extend and develop their accounting skills in a fast moving and dynamic environment, possibly working towards a recognised accounting qualification and with strong team working skills.
