Job summary

Rutherford Briant Recruitment is helping a well-established client in Ipswich recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly accounts team. This role suits someone with experience across accounts production, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, and varied bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities include accounts production for clients, preparing budgets and cashflow forecasts, processing invoices and completing bank reconciliations, and other month-end VAT reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience across accounts production, management accounts, assistance in budgets and forecasts, and bookkeeping tasks.
• Experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
• Relevant accountancy qualifications or currently studying.
