Qualifications

Responsibilities

We’re now looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Accountant to support core Finance operations and play a key role in period-end reporting, reconciliations and workflow improvement.

About the Role:

This role sits at the heart of our Finance team. It is hands-on, detail-focused and critical for maintaining accuracy, control and efficiency in our financial processes.

You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and wider team- supporting management accounts, reconciling financial data, ensuring timely reporting and contributing to stronger financial governance across the business.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and problem solving- and who wants to develop their experience in a supportive environment with scope for growth.

What You’ll Support, Deliver & Contribute To

You will:

  • Support monthly management accounts and period-end processes
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting packs
  • Process expense and credit-card transactions via Concur

  • Process supplier invoices, ServiceNow tickets and payment requests
  • Monitor finance KPIs and assist with forecast/budget inputs
  • Identify ways to streamline workflows and improve accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives
