About the role

Armstrong Knight are very proud to be working with a forward thinking company of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers who are now looking for a tech savvy accountant to join their growing team.

They are a well‑respected company who, for this role, are offering a competitive salary (subject to skills and experience), excellent study arrangements and advanced software training.

They are a single location practice, with an excellent reputation, who provide a full range of accounting and business advisory services to a diverse range of corporates, owner‑managed businesses and private clients across the South East of England.

What skills and experience would I need?

The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working within a practice, be an advanced user of bookkeeping software (predominately Zero and Receipt Bank), and be adept of third‑party apps and software integration.

Knowledge of Iris Accountancy software would be an advantage but not essential.

What would my duties be?

Your day‑to‑day duties would include monitoring a portfolio of clients' operation cloud software, predominately Xero, assisting new clients with software migration, supporting clients and your team with advanced automation and third‑party app integration.

Duties will also include preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts, drafting tax computations, liaise with HMRC as and when required.
