You will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, conducting reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial reports. Finance Assistant - Shipley - Study support - £27,000 to £32,000


A brilliant opportunity for a talented Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing and innovative service company based in Shipley. This role offers the opportunity for you to gain valuable analytical and reporting experience whilst working as part of a dynamic and high performing finance team.


The Job

Full responsibility and maintenance of the purchase ledger processing a small number of monthly invoices



  • Bank reconciliations

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Preparing monthly underwriting

  • Regular reporting and month‑end accounts including variance analysis and journal postings

  • Accruals & prepayments

  • Cash flow analysis, reviewing and keeping management abreast of cash movement (Desirable)

  • Overseeing of fixed asset register

  • Ad hoc reporting on Excel

  • Analysis of revenue and costs


The successful candidate will be:


  • Analytical

  • Relevant experience within a finance role

  • Ideally have experience of multiple entities
