Financial Assistant (Part Time)

Prestigious FMCG Business - Andover

Contract: 1 January - 30 April | 2-3 Days Per Week - Salary c£35 DOE

The Role

As the Financial Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Financial Control Manager and wider finance team, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth month‑end processes during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of cash accounts across online D2C, Amazon, and two key B2B customers.
  • Produce and deliver weekly reporting of trade deductions.
  • Support with journal creation and posting.
  • Assist with Capex tracking and reporting.
  • Provide month‑end support to the Financial Control Manager, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a finance support, finance assistant, or similar role.
  • Exposure to Amazon, D2C, or B2B channels is highly desirable.
  • Part‑qualified or currently studying towards a finance qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and the ability to work independently across 2‑3 days per week.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
