Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar finance role (Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Officer or Transactional Finance Officer).
• Broad transactional finance knowledge, including AR, AP, and payroll.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and finance processes.
• Experience with journals, pensions, and P11Ds.
• Commission calculation experience is desirable.
• Comfortable working independently and supporting transactional finance.
• Experience with Netsuite is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Accounts Receivable, including high-volume AR activity.
• Assisting with Accounts Payable and providing holiday cover.
• Processing and understanding monthly payroll.
• Preparing P11Ds and supporting pension administration.
• Calculating commission payments.
• Processing journals and general bookkeeping.
• Supporting all transactional finance activities.
• Assisting with company credit card reconciliations.
• Acting as a second pair of eyes across finance processes.
• Supporting escalations and providing operational assistance to the Finance Manager.
• Assisting with additional payrolls following future business acquisitions if required.
