An educational institution in Bognor Regis is seeking an Assistant Accommodation Officer to deliver exceptional housing services and support students. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders. Candidates should have a good general education and knowledge of residential letting obligations. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is essential. We are currently seeking an Assistant Accommodation Officer to join our friendly and supportive team based at our Bognor Regis Campus. The key focus of this role is to assist in the delivery of a first-class private sector housing service at the University. This will include delivering comprehensive, accurate and unbiased guidance and advice to University students and landlords, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to the service, and assisting with the creation and implementation of initiatives to develop and increase private sector accommodation provision at the University.
You will have a good general education with a high standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail. You will need good interpersonal and communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to build relationships. You will need to be approachable, adaptable and conscientious with a strong student focus and have the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to support Open Days.
You will demonstrate a knowledge of statutory obligations in residential letting, ideally within an education environment and will have a First Aid at Work qualification or commitment to obtain such within probationary period.
