Job summary

Insight Investment in London seeks an Asset Valuations Analyst to join the Asset Valuations team. You will help upscale the team’s expertise, lead and engage stakeholders, and improve valuation processes for a broad set of products.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with derivatives, and proficiency in Excel/VBA/SQL. You will collaborate with vendors, ensure controls, and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with derivatives in a Product Control, Risk or Middle Office context.
• Strong understanding of OTC derivative and Secured Finance pricing.
• Proficient in Excel, VBA, and SQL; familiarity with Bloomberg a plus.
• Good organisational skills and ability to multitask under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, monthly and quarterly quality control checks on OTC and Sec Fin asset valuations.
• Collaborate with model owners to remediate valuation issues and develop action plans.
• Monitor findings and management action plans to address valuation concerns.
• Prepare metrics and report asset valuations to senior committees.
• Promote awareness of valuation policy and best practices with stakeholders.
• Develop processes and procedures supporting asset valuations.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and counterparties relating to valuations.
• Assist with model validation testing and evaluate model inputs.
